Darren Paulsen received his Law degree from the University of Victoria in 1996, and, after articling with Mair Jensen Blair, was called to the Bar in September, 1998 . He became a partner of the firm January 1, 2003. Raised in Penticton, Darren chose Kamloops to practice in because of its central location and close proximity to both his hometown and the Lower Mainland.

His law practice is focused primarily in the area of civil litigation. During his career he has been involved in a number of high complexity motor vehicle related cases, and has attended a number of professional development programs involving injury litigation.

An active member of the B.C. Trial Lawyers Association, Darren has appeared in all levels of B.C. court and before a variety of administrative tribunals. He has also represented both plaintiffs and defendants at mediation.

Darren brings an extensive sports background, including a season in the BC Junior Hockey League, to the Kamloops community. In their spare time, Darren and his family enjoy taking part in the numerous recreational activities Kamloops has to offer.
