Richard Jensen, a graduate of the University of Windsor, received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in 1971, majoring in Economics, and a Bachelor of Law degree in 1974. Growing up in the mining atmosphere of northern Ontario, Richard proceeded to British Columbia in 1969, and worked on a diamond drill rig in the Vavenby area, during which time he came to see Kamloops and the surrounding area.
He was called to the British Columbia and Alberta Bars in 1975. Mr. Jensen was awarded the Queens Golden Jubilee Medal in January of 2003; received his appointment as Queens Counsel in 2004; and worked for 6 years as a director of the Interior Health Authority.
Richard’s preferred area of legal practice is corporate commercial business law, which includes acquisition, mergers of business, together with real estate development, joint ventures including real estate conveyancing.
