Matt was raised in Penticton before joining the Kamloops Blazers in 2011. Matt spent five years with the Blazers and was named captain at 18-years-old, tied for the youngest in Blazer history. Following his tenure with the Blazers, Matt received an Honours degree in finance from St. Francis Xavier University and completed his Juris Doctor at Queen’s University.
Away from the office, Matt spends his time playing hockey and golf with friends, and hunting and fishing with family.
