Dustin graduated from Thompson Rivers University, Faculty of Law, in 2017, and then joined MJB Lawyers as an articling student. Prior to attending Thompson Rivers University, Dustin attended the University of Northern British Columbia in Prince George, where he completed a Bachelors of Commerce with a double major in Finance and General Business. He also holds an Accounting and Finance Diploma, with honors, from the College of New Caledonia.
While attending Thompson Rivers University, Dustin was the President of the Indigenous Law Students' Association. As President, he had the opportunity to attend a wide variety of functions and conferences throughout BC. He also worked diligently to raise important issues regarding First Nations and to bring these First Nations' issues to the forefront of the University.
Prior to articling with MJB Lawyers, Dustin worked as a sawmill employee in the forestry sector, a labourer in remote exploration camps throughout Canada, and as an automotive mechanic.
Outside of work, Dustin enjoys spending time with his family and taking in the beautiful outdoors that surround us here in Kamloops. Dustin enjoys snowboarding, hiking, an occasional round of golf, and a large variety of watersports.
