We are looking for a full-time conveyancer who is a self-starter, and a team player. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Document editing, file maintenance and management, time entry and billing.
- Performing a variety of searches including Personal Property Registry, LTSA, and taxes.
- Managing calendars and bring-forward systems to ensure important deadlines are met.
- Liaise with other legal assistants, paralegals, lawyers, and clients regarding file progress.
- Provide overflow assistance to legal assistants, paralegals, and lawyers.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 - 10 years of experience in a legal environment, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Legal certification from an accredited institution, or equivalent education.
- Strong computer and technical skills including proficient knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Excellent writing and drafting skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and a part of a collegial team.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including a keen ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Highly dependable and adaptable, with a strong work ethic.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Salary
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $62,500; however, salary will be commensurate with experience.
