Dennis Coates QCSenior Associate + lawyer

Dennis Coates received his Bachelor of Commerce and Law degrees from UBC, and graduated in 1967 at the top of his class. He became a partner in MJB's predecessor in 1982 and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1987. In 2014 he became a senior associate with MJB Lawyers.

Dennis focuses on administrative law, corporate and commercial law, and real estate development. He is a leading professional in the multitude of issues facing the hospitality industry in the Province, including liquor licensing.

Dennis celebrated 50 years with the Law Society in Vancouver on June 13 2018.
