Rob Adkin graduated from UBC with a Commerce degree in 1979 and a law degree in 1980. He became a partner with MJB in 1982.
Rob acted for All Nations Trust Company from 1985 until his retirement in 2019. He was actively involved in the initial negotiations with the federal government which helped establish All Nations Trust Company as one of the first native trust companies in Western Canada. MJB Lawyers continue to act as their corporate solicitor.
Rob acted for a number of developers in the Kamloops region, and completed several large Subdivisions. He also worked extensively in the area of wills, estates, and estate planning.
Rob was always involved in the community of Kamloops, including being a past president of the Kamloops United Way, working with the Kamloops Airshow Society, Kamloops Minor Hockey and the Board of the Freshwater Fisheries Society of British Columbia.
He retired from the practice of law in the spring of 2019.
